Very true. I worked at a park in L.A. that was often a filming location. There was some horror film filming there (I forget the name, but a kid and his mom turn into cats or lions or something).
Anyway, the kid drove a 77 Trans Am and they had SIX of them on set to use, all done up exactly alike.

Actually,if you dig a little deeper into that thread,you'll see where Jason admits that his truck wasn't the movie truck

truck was speculation. As it says on web sites it was thought to be a
prototype, and mine is the only blue proto ty. Plus when the film was made we
thought it was to early to be a production truck. I just talked to Vista Group
(the company that puts cars in movies and supplied trucks and cars to all the
LW movies) a few days ago and got this info. So I guess this throws a wrench
into what we were thinking.
Btw my vin is 1GKCT18Z8M0515710 and I have a copy of every title the truck
ever had, and even the certificate of origin. So you can follow it from gm to
triad (pas) to me, from a 91 4X4 Jimmy to a Prototype Typhoon.

I thought AJ was in dialogue with you and already contracted for a U-Haul trailer to pick it up Sunday? I would at least give him the opportunity to buy it and if he can't/doesn't, then jump on it Monday. Otherwise, things could get a bit ugly :dunno:. Not really my beef so I will check out of this all together but all the best to whomever buys it and welcome (in advance) to the Aspen club.

If someone has the cash a makes a deal with the owner.......so be it. Thats how I feel. The truck wasnt advertised 4/sale or posted on here by the owner, If anyone has "DIBS" it should be brian for stopping and finding it in the 1st place (Sorry AJ).

it'd be a pretty dick move to say you are passing on it, allow someone else to make plans to pick it up in a few days (because they have to travel to get it) then all of a sudden decide you want it and sneak in and buy it before the other guy could make it down.
