My old typhoon up for sale again on craigslist

hmm, the saga continues for typhoon #156... when i got rid of her i was hoping she was going to a good home, it sounded like he had the time, inspiration, and money to do what i always wanted to do for her...she had been in a wreck at some point before i got her, some idiot put her into a guardrail, pretty lightly though..just a fender and some cladding...anyways, its up for sale again in the seattle area, $4500 aint bad, considering the low production number, and rarity of factory paint (unfortunately not original anymore) but it looks like it has been pretty well taken care of in his care, although not restored as i had hoped. makes me hunger for another one to see her available again, but i'm warning any potential buyers...needs a lot of work, last time i had her anyways...at the least a new turbo. ran and drove, but boosted to only 8lbs...might have been the coldpiping somewhere leaking though, it happened right as i was getting rid of her. anyways, if anyone wants it its solid except for a mangled front subframe, bumper brackets, and fender, (was when i got rid of her anyways). says he has the cladding. ask me if you want to know anything about this vehicle

Some idiot previous owner changed the paint color from a paint scheme that was one of 4 Typhoon's ever made

TEAL IS NOT A RARE COLOR. PERIOD.

Exact number is unknown, but the claims of only 4, 50, 20 and most any other number you see people make up is complete bullshit and is the total reason why so much information on these trucks is skewed and screwed up.

If there was only 4 ever made that would be amazing. We had 6-7 known in FL at one point all at the same time. Im quite certain there are still that many and a few more that unknown floating around this state. If there was only 20 made, that too would be amazing being almost basically half of the teal typhoons made would reside in FL.... 50 seems to be a number people pull out of their ass for any color combo cause it sounds good I guess?!

Fact of the matter is, the color breakdown is unknown. Until all of the build sheets are broken down (dont hold your breath), the best info we have is the incomplete database on Sportmachines.

The only owners who are legitimately allowed to use "rare" with their color combo should be:

aspen/gray
royal blue/gray
garnet/gray
raspberry/raspberry (documented 2 made)
radar blue/radar blue (documented 2 made)

The only 2 color combos I would maybe include outside that are:

92 white/white
92 red/red

Both those color combos are rare for the year, but do exist. Need to check your glovebox door SPID to verify cladding color. Most 92 wht/wht or red/reds have been found to be painted. Like I said...they exist, but are rare.

If you dont own any of those color combos, your shit aint rare.

I am selling my 1992 GMC Typhoon. 4.3L V6 Turbocharged engine, with an all wheel drive traction control system
It has 93,647 miles. It is in pristine condition minus minor paint chipping on part of the hood. Interior is perfect. Only one out of approximately fifteen were made in this color.
This isn't your average GMC blazer, Very fast car. It's a rare hot rod.
