Going to be the ultimate spot for a lot of car groups. Rental fees will be steep, but to have your own racetrack for a day or two would be worth it.

For the heck of it, I shot them an email asking how much facility rentals are.

Nate, ask them if they allow use of the autocross course by private groups? If so, is group insurance required or can the group be exempt with the signing of a liability waiver?

10-4.

I see that they have insurance available through a 3rd party.

Waiting for the email reply that says facility rental is $10,000 day. NATS 2015 Registration = $500 PER PERSON! :rotf:

Yeah, the 3rd party insurance is often a killer as it's based on headcount and certifications. I tried that down here (to keep from having to pay the SCCA fees for an event) and it wasn't feasible. The company I spoke with wanted $50 per person up to 30 people with a 15% rate reduction for each certified racer. It was cheaper to go through the SCCA. Finding large enough lots owned by companies that will allow groups on course without insurance is getting tough. I get it, but I hate it.

lol. That's not how much it is. hah. Haven't heard back from them yet. But wouldn't surprise me in the least!

Will update once they message back. Hell, if anyone is interested at some point of renting it out (cough cough Nats) and if the price is steep, maybe I can check with some local car groups to see if they would want to go halvsies or something on it.

Will update when I hear back.

Re: New Motorsports park in Bowling Green!

Well, here's the pricing information.

Also, looking at their calendar (http://www.motorsportspark.org/events/) , it appears that NO Saturdays are available June, July, August, September OR October of 2015, except for the 1st weekend in June. There are some Fridays available. Looks like it fills up pretty quick and pretty far in advance.

Email sent back requesting clarification of insurance coverages.

For comparison, we pay the GA Ports Authority $500 (+ port-a-potty fees and emergency vehicle fees) to rent the big lot on Hutchinson. This covers the entire weekend (Sat AM thru Sun PM).
