new owner of syclone 393

Just wanting to drop a line and say after about 1.5 years of searching I finally bought a syclone. I bought T- Bones black truck - one of the closest ones I've found in my area. Drove up last sunday and picked it up, drove it nearly 200 miles back home. Ride back was uneventful - a little bumpy with the drag radials, but I fixed that Monday with a new set of Kumho street tires. Shaun is a super nice guy, And I could'nt have asked for a smoother transaction. He also showed me his 92 prototype syclone, which was worth the drive itself. I'm going to put some pics up when I finish detailing it, just been so busy with work I have not had time. Just proud to finally own a nice, stock syclone.

It's Doug Basler's old truck, and number 393. truck currently has 102K on the clock, and is a nice stock example of a syclone.

You got a great "original" truck, Josh that runs super solid. Most of those miles are highway miles accumulated by Doug but that didn't hurt it any. Curious to see how much better she looks after a thorough detail. I made a few cosmetic improvements to it while I had it but mechanically, it was/is solid as a rock. Hope to see you in August at Bellevue Mall if most of the the Tennessean SyTy owners can meet up there. I think you can do a search and pull up information on the event.

Pulled the proto Sy out Saturday and played around with it :). Man, I love that truck!!! Hopefully, I can have the 93 Ty poertrain converted and running by fall so I can hit homecoming next year. Let me know if you need anything

Hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of the truck, I know I did. It was just time to part with something and I wasn't ready to let go og the GN. I'm still looking for the book I had all the maintanance wrote down in, when, if I find it I'll get it to you.

Hey Doug thanks, I probably sound like a broke record but I' still detailing the truck . I know Ive had it a couple weeks now but can't seem to find much time after work, Truckis coming along nicely I believe when i eventually post some pics its going to look sweet. Cleaning up a lot nicer than what I ever figured for. By the way I know its in here somewhere but how do I post pics, seen people asking before but never paid any attention.
thanks!

Hey here are some pictures of # 393, it has been a while but I finally found time to detail it out. Anybody wanting to look at the pictures needs to click on the truck, and it should bring them up on photo bucket. I meant to take those mats and towels out before I took pictures, but forgot. I work in a body shop and if I drive it to work the carpet wont stay clean without them. The pics are a lot better than that jumbled video clip.

P.S. thanks Shaun for helping me get these posted, I was about as lost as I could be.
