No power

Ok...so I installed my sub/amps in the summer and I took them out while I've been away at college. I just put in my subs and amp a couple minutes ago and now the amp won't turn on. I have the ground, power, and remote wire all in the right places. I have to turn off and on the Signal Sensing switch to get the power light to come on, and then I play the music and the subs are barely moving. I just get a small vibration out of them, and then when the song switches the amp turns off. I don't know what to do now.

Re: No power

first make sure your ground wire is really grounded (bare metal to bare metal). if the amp turns off on its own try the remote wire.it may have a short. hook up a external loose remote to test it out. as for low sound or no sound check rca's. also check if you are using two subs bridged to amp, one may be blown.

because i cant see what you have done i can only guess. but if you have anything like my system you got a lot of work ahead of you. deck - rca - brain(to deck) - rca - eq - rca -crossover -rca - amps. a whole lot of connections to double check.

i will be back on later this evening. so any more light would help me help you. hopefully its a silly little fix and your out driving now as i write this
