too early, Ill go in December when its supposed to be.

I kinda like its being a bit earlier now because by the time December rolls around there is definitely salt on the roads up here.

Come on you can make it ...Stop yer bitchin and just come out ... You know you wanna come... LOL!! Didnt you make an appearance last year or was that the year before?

I know but I remember you being there with the ty and the ex girlfriend but cant remember when it was? 2 years ago maybe? I don't know. So its time for ya to start attending the meet again.

would have been Dec 2006, that was the last time I drove my truck.

Most people do...which accounts for the huge numbers. 22 trucks last year...and we're on our way to matching that this year. I remember one FRIGID December day a few years ago when a whole FIVE trucks showed up. Lots of fun.

I wanna be outside talking trucks, not inside Hooters choking down their crappy food. That's why there will be a RAIN DATE for this event (TBD).

weather has just as much of a chance sucking on December as it does in November. How about the awesome 3 person turnout that was at E-town a couple weeks ago... cant control the weather dude.

Either way, 22 people is not overly impressive, we had 20 people in 2005 but I think that was the year everyone wussed out, including myself who was on a boat in Florida :), 43 people in 2004, and 18 people in 2003 and 2002.... all of those meets were in December.

I never went by truck count cause everyones shit was always broken anyway and if trucks are the only thing that count, then theres definately no reason for me to go since I dont have one that runs anyway. I always went to meets to talk to the people, sure its nice to see trucks since they are obviously what brought us together, but we all see the same trucks over and over again and they rarely change much.

.

"Just as much chance of sucking in December as it does in November" Disagree.

"can't control the weather..." True, which is why I suggest a "crappy weather (rain) date" which was never offered for the December meets. It's almost always frigid in December which means less truck time. Plus the chicks are more likely to pose in 40 degrees than they would be in 25 degrees.

"Either way, 22 people is not overly impressive..."
Not people dude...TRUCKS. And if you look at all the meets that take place around the country (both regional and national meets), 22 trucks is very impressive. And 22 trucks = at least 22 people, often many more who come as passengers or in their daily drivers. Last year we had 22 trucks but probably 35 people.
