Yep....traded the ss and the green dually for the white duramax. The ss was just sittin around. Mandi loves to drive her dually around so i fugure...jeff it. Ill get her another duramax to make her happy again.

Plus....one less vehicle to insure and pay registration on every year.

On another good note...the ss was private. The dually is owned by my company....i love tax breaks:tup:

I'm already to go myself. I got a fresh coat of paint on my trailer, a new seat of tires. checked all the wheel bearings/ brakes all is good.


I serviced the silverado last week changed the oil/filter and done a trans flush.


All i need now is a pretty clean sy that will run lol :tup:

Id be putting a winch on there if it doesnt have one, you know 1 in every 3 sytys to attend nats leaves broken dont you? (or did i just make that up?)

I went and looked a new used truck this evening

2006 2500hd 4x4 4door loaded duramax/allison 52k they are asking 29,995.00 the best they could do is 28,500.00


I inquired about trading in my 06 1500 z71 ext cab has 28k on it and they were willing to allow me 18,500 on trade-in


i still owe on it as well. so i dunno what gonna happen but i like it it emerald green.

for an 06 that is kinda high. That year had the lbz motor in them and the 6 speed allison. Great combo.

I know of an 06 lt package CC/sb duramax/allison with 65k miles on it down in south ga they only wanted right at 20k for it. There are some great deals on them right now.

Also a buddy of mine who lives in north ga he bought one about a year ago. It was a demo truck 09 model had 10k miles on it. loaded CC/SB dura/allison leather navi. everything listed for $56k he got it for $38k with 0 percent financing for 60 months.

The duramax we just got is fully loaded with 10,000 miles on it..4x4.......i got them down to 25k.......The dealerships will budge.....Just gotta be annoying to them.:tup:

i let the guy know right quick that i didn't need to test drive it or even look at the int close.

Tille we sat down and looked over what he was gonna give me for my current truck and the best he could do on his truck.


but it's a waiting game for me :tup: i don't have to have a diesel but i really would like one.
