If my truck runs in the mid hi 11's, can I get into the mid 10's by adding 50lb Injectors, 3" wastegate and reprogram my chip(will this be needed)?
This is my New Years Resolution!!! To get in the looooow 10's. Advise needed.
By the way can I still get the Ultimate Chip flashed?

Please Advise.

Re: Question for the Wise.

Ask mhoover, he'll be able to help ya get low. Usually to get that low some weight reduction needs to be done, and some serious modification to the engine and drivetrain needs to be done as well. You will want a pretty well built motor with a strong bottom-end and high boost capability to produce good hp & torque to get times in the low 10's.

50's by themselves will not put you in the mid 10's from the mid 11's. thats a 1 sec jump and will usually take a large hp/tq jump to accomplish this.

yes you can still get the ultimate reprogrammed.

What the heck is ET (estimated time) is the 1/4-mile time?
Again thanks for all the help.

remember the lower your times the harder it is to lower them with inexpensive mods and after a certain point you cant go any lower without new internals and more boost.

Re: Question for the Wise.

by the sounds of it you will need a bigger turbo, 75# injectors, and a stand alone ecu. and probably many other items as well. Although the factory computer is capable of going low 10s and faster, it takes alot of patience and time to dial in the proper tune, Your best bet is to fly out someone like Nolan or Phil L., and rent a local dyno for the day (if you want to use the stock compter).
