hi i have my upper intake off, but i need to take my lower off the get it powder coated, how do you remove the fuel injecotrs and rails safely?/

Remove the 4 bolts on the fuel rail thats attached to the lower intake. Remove gas hard lines that are attached to the rail and FPR. take off the clips that hold the fuel rail to the injectors and gently lift the rails from the injectors.

When you remove the lower intake, unbolt starting from the center out and make sure you use baggies to lable the bolts and studs....

have a towel around the hardlines to soak up the gas and obviously no sources of ignition!

You may want to get some new o-rings for the injectors for when you replace them.

Take pics of which injector goes to which part of the harness - it's pretty obvious though.

Remove the metal cap on the fuel rail to relieve the pressure before you start.

Always have your battery disconnected when you open the fuel lines also.

One spark can ruin your day when there's a puddle of gasoline in your lower intake.
