our trucks are considered sleepers to the misinformed. does anybody have a truck without the cladding or stickers to really take people by suprise?pics?

there was white one that was a typhoon to blazer swap in the North East.
the typhoon was wrecked so a shop put a regular 1984 blazer body onto it.
they did however have zr1 *turbine* wheels atleast.
as for pictures, looks just like a regular blazer.

Als truck, 3 or 4 different colors, no cladding, only way to tell is when the external gate opens, or the front bumper.
Like my Buckeye cohort sy-1177, I too drive a SYTY powered Bravada. Happily named "the braphoon" by Rich "gasman" Eartly it has run 12's by the previous owner/creater Dave Buckshaw (genius).

It's been "modified" since then. Custom STG front bumper, alky injection, BG logic, Potter drive....all make this thing the best sleeper I've driven (i've got the tickets to prove it). I should get some recent pictures up on chitownsyty.com since I've been thinking of selling it. If anyone has questions e-mail me.

hmmm, when i emailed him numerous times he gave me a story of it.
he stated that the truck belonged to some race track owner. his son wrecked it. then some shop that does top notch work repaired it.
that is what he had wrote. if it is true or not, I dont care. Just what he stated. It was for sale in Jan. or Feb. on the old SyTy.org classifieds.

Potter's Braphoon is the fastest "SyTy" Ive been in to date.

My Ty was stolen and stripped of all cladding, mirrors and 99% of interior the previous (sp) owner decided not to repair with TY But S-15 jimmy the only markings are Typhoon on the tailgate, wheels and it sits lower than a jimmy. (iI would like to post a pic if I could send it to someone.)

For the uneducated, mine is sort of a sleeper.
The only places it says Typhoon are on the inside. It has the Ty badge on the glovebox, the RKKustom Dashmat, and on the stock seats when I get em put back in. Most people just give me looks like "rich punk, and his custom blazer with fancy wheels."

Besides part of the lure that is the Braphoon is the three inces of dirt. Nothing says sleeper like a four door Bravada that has wash me on the back.
Hoping to cut some 12's again soon. Might have to wash it just to get there. :evil:

how many miles on the ty drivetrain? how many miles on the bravado ? how much you looking to let her go for?
