Was it a real kill?
I don't know but it was fun!
Yesterday (Sunday) evening, 8ish on the way home from the office (hell yeah what do I do Sun. in the office?), I go up De Soto in the SF Valley and spot a kid in a Camaro SS. I didn't really wanna play and we were not lined up at the last light before the freeway entrance. However, at my most favorite fwy entrance to the 118 west (for the local guys) he tried to overtake me on the left (there are two tight right turns with two lines going up to the freeway - so local SoCal's may know this entrance). The first one is very tight and I didn't' want to buy him a new passenger door so I kept "calm" he accelerated uphill to the next right, I floored it knowing what the Rancho's and the ATR rear swaybar can hold and come in front of him, nailing down the second right turn with close to 50 mph.
I only see him struggling in the rear-view mirror *g* outperformed in a corner by a truck - LOL.
Game over I thought - cruising with the normal 118 fwy 75 on the odo uphill. All of a sudden he's behind almost eating may tailgate (he's pissed??). So I floor it and he tries to go buy. Uphill, close to 120 he looses it door by door - I thought "What a shame, I would have loved to show him my tailgate at 130+ ... and I slow down to 85... downhill the next try, ho comes ahead one car length since I wasn't prepared and again pedal to the metal ... again 120 he's gone. What a poor kid, I didn't know that these Camaros are limited, but I guess they are.... He never tried again and was not seen anymore
