Robert seams like a nice guy from reading his post, but you on the other hand

Well, I guess the idea rolling around my head was something like a comparision of the following...

AWD truck with 600 HP+ and a 700R4 with the front shaft removed. (With Slicks, obviously) Does it live longer? If so, how much longer?

And, if that test is successful (ie, a decent lifespan), could a front shaft "vibration dampner" be created to lessen the damage from the chattering fronts?

It's not just the chattering from the fronts. The transfer case actually eats up quite a bit of that with the viscous clutch. The rear is where most of the chattering happens. Axle wraps up, truck leans to one side a little, load is unbalanced on the rear tires, wheel hop or chattering happens and things break.

I guess when sorted out properly he (the new owner) will try to "get" the first 8 in US then..

Please keep us informed IF he does this and wants to go public with it...because Ed Hess is gone?? and only your former truck seem to bee a "dark horse" for fast ET on syclones "street style"

With the risk of beeing a dickhead again, Ed was "promising" me He´d run realy fast and that would bee "Sooon".After Hoover´s HE was the US Sy trying to get down to 8.

After that tread he´s not heard from or so.No progress or rumors, just nothing..

And to TT350..YOU are pissed of on ME and my "suposed atitude" not Robert.....

Why in the world would Robert be forced to come to US AGAIN???, U all did know he was coming, when he would be here at the nat´s (-06) You´ve had all the time finnish of all the trucks U had or get the other "lurki´n superfast Sy´s" to the nat´s but there was "no show" from them, Take´m to Sweden or Europe this time.

Team Bully came, but did´nt have ther tuning in order, BUT they did show up...

If Anders gets under your skin then go build a truck that will beat the Swedes.
I had the opportunity to live in Europe for a few years and believe Anders doesnt mean to get your panties bunched, but he does mean to discuss the competition. I actually welcome the reminder that the fastest truck is in Sweden. Americans should be motivated by that reminder and hopefully someone will step up to beat them at our game; while being glad a group of folks so far away enjoy our hobby as much as we do.

Thanks Daron, U and some other people here have seen I mean no harm, but I´m an scandinavian and european and we have another aproach to things to discus and we are use to be more direkt and pinpoint things in, maybee a more aggresiv way, than most of U are used to.

Besides that Im a person who likes tuff discution and some give and take, ask Matt Hoover we have had some "fights" even Ed have had his "battle", the point is, dont promise to do results or saying "do that is easy" or "it wont be long" "soon" etc because someting like that would bee a "reminder point" when the discusion starts.. And I´m using this.

IF annyone here in sweden promise to run faster or better than the rest of the bunch, and fail to do so, he would have 25-100 "Dickheads" telling him to show up or stay low..Same goes for me if I´m getting "cokky" so Ive had my chear of hard words on Inet, Special because I´ve always promise to have my Nova running "next summer" and get my bashing for not get it going.. still in the garage for maybee the 12´th summer in a row..

Funny though I´ve never been warned or banned in anny forum around the world so basikly I´m within the etiks..

And I stands for my words, if that gets U mad or so, its up to U to tell me or just manage it.

If this Sy hit´s a 8 that would be greate, I think Robert started to "get a lithle sloppy" he NEED´S the challenge of another fast Sy to give his best, and keep his inovative brain on its toes..

Said this before, its the challenge and competition that makes progress in this hobby..

This is whats up. I got the Hoover truck. I really dont care about making the 8's ,but since the truck is getting a tranny and tunned by some1 that I think might can get it their I will try it.In the streets is where the money is. Thats what Im after!
