SRT-4 didn't see it coming!

I decided to take the Sy out today to run the fuel out for winter. Just cruisin' the back roads by my house I spotted him go by on the next road up. After a quick 100 mph blast I was right up behind him and just about to the next stop sign. He left the stop normal and I did as well, so I pulled out to pass and seen the tell-tale puff of carbon out his exhaust so I knew it was on and matted the petal. The last time I checked the spedo it was showing 105 and the rear view was showing some slow a** dodge 20 lengths back! :tup:

They don't launch all that well, but their are a lot of SRT4's I wouldn't want to mess around with on the highway.

It's not a Sonoma/Jimmy, it's a Syclone/Typhoon.

True statement. But most of them probably have 5-10K in mods done. If you put just 3K worth of yee-haa mods in a sy/ty, not much would be able to walk with you.

I heard (probably here :cool:) that it's better to top off the tank (and adding stabilizer) which will prevent condensation in the tank over winter.

Nice man! Whats done to your truck? I ran a Caliber SRT4 in the wifes Ty from a 50 roll last year and he took me out. It was real close to 90 then he started leaving me pretty good. We have a 20g on ours too. I was shocked.

i have to drop the tank AGAIN cause i didn't get the o ring seated properly the first time and it leaks when full. the engine in it now is basically stock, 30 over forged pistons, eagle rods, stainless valves, new lifters, just did a thorough rebuild. the spare is still in progress and it will be built!

man, how about some real kills, lined up side to side at the strip or light, these half ass ambush kills don't showcase what the ty/sy is really capable of, what you are describing sounds like the commonly referred to "ricer flyby" as performed by as ty/sy.

My vid is still up on youtube were I had raced SRT48U's stage II car. That's what happens when you go from a dig from a Sy/Ty.
