lol, yea, buying beer i would think would not help on saving up for a car. (yet alone for a 17 year old)

I'm just glad my step-dad has always like syclones and typhoons, so he let me get a loan after I made about $2500 at my job and paying the loan off now for the Ty i just got.

I used to spend almost all my money on computer parts, but I've cut down on that and 95% of my cash goes into loans/insurance now.

By the time after x-mas i should hopefully have the loan close to being paid off and then i can start doing some upgrades.

Also, try not to go out and eat at fast food places w/ friends for lunch or dinner, you can save a pretty good amount from just eating at home.
