$19 from the local parts store. it was in the ricer isle. gonna get a red breather to match the filter.

should clear the radiator, but havent tested it yet

only clearance problems i should have, is the battery. i might drop it straight down from the stock location. also for the plumbing between the turbo and IC. 2 silicon 90s off the turbo will point me towards the driver side, then a 90 reducer, 3" to 2.25" into the stock IC. it should fit, crossing my fingers

LOOKING GREAT:cool:! I gotta get my electric fans, wide band, exhaust cut out, manual brakes, maybe alky setup and some other stuff on my truck still... Look out, I have *almost* spent as many hours working on my truck as there have been months so far this year (I think I'm at about 4 hours total now for the year)

Re: Syclone #136

the turbo is about 1/16" from resting on the A/C pulley bracket.

gonna relocate the battery to the driver side. mount the stock tray where the ABS unit sat. extend the pos. cable to reach. It should work.

Tip of the day. When priming your oil system with the turbo feed, and remote filter hoses off. Make sure your catch cans are big enough to hold the oil.... The can i had under the oil filter filled up, and overflowed. big puddle of oil.

welding the WG bypass on the straight piece of pipe warped it into an egg shape. so it had to be squeezed while the bends were welded on. no too pretty but it worked.

i'll wait and see how hot the DP will get. then i'll either, polish it or wrap the whole thing.

If you polish it, it will turn blue the first time that you heat cycle it. There is a trick to getting a neat rainbow effect though if you're into that... looking GREAT ! Funny, while you were putting your downpipe together, I was taking mine apart

. I had to cut off the bolts that were welded onto my PTE downpipe for the dump since the bolts weren't long enough to go through my electric cutout. THANKS again for remembering that torque converter inspection cover

! All I need to do now is clean up the edge, beburr it and glass bead blast it:

Once you get that bad boy back on the road, we need to have another little get together

drill press is about 8 years old. and yea, when i rotated the DP i made sure i could get to the plugs, you can get your whole hand on each plug, and each is a straight shot with a ratchet.

all the plugs are cake now, except for #3 ofcourse
