Re: Teal Typhoon 1702

thanks!!

tonight I decided to start tearing into the engine compartment after getting the new stickers installed on doors. I started snoopin around the turbo vac lines, I barely touched the hardlines and they broke so those got replaced.. which lead to the innertube test.. Suprisingly I only found one leak and it was at the intercooler to coupling that attaches to intake, I took it off and re-tightened it and no more leak. I still need to check fuel pressure but roads are officially salted so we'll see how that goes. Im also starting to clean the engine compartment.. And lastely I picked up a magnaflow muffler to get a little more sound out of her :D don't plan on to many more mods if none at all, and yes im keeping ALL the parts that have came off

Awesome I really like the teal. The original paint cleaned up well it looks like aside from the couple spots of paint peel but that gives it some cool patina I like it

Truck looks good. The 20% tint looks just a little to dark in that picture. Also I like that the truck has the clear non gold film windows in the rear.

Was a nice day out, took the teal up to let the lady see it from whom I bought it from. She
Loved it of coarse, i also tried buying the syclone off her... She is firm on 13g for a truck that's been wrecked numerous times which sucks cause now I'm on the hunt for either a gn or another syclone to add to the collection.

How is the undercarriage rusty or was it taken off the road before it went bad. I am really surprised to see one up there. I am from Madison wi the first ty I seen was teal one at the gas station on packers ave east side of Madison around 1995 it was the only one I had seen in person till I seen mine 2 years ago. I wonder if its the same one cant be too many teals around there lol

The underside isn't rusted threw, take a wire brush to it and it will be clean. It could be but this is from the Milton/Racine area

Jesse, do you know if the GMC logos on the wheel center caps show any color?

My syclone has red inside, than on reverse side I noticed a spray of color.

A GMC typhoon I was able to part out (teal) I noticed it had the insides painted as well (just the GMC logo) not like the whole rim.. and same color swatch/sample on reverse side.

Just wondering what's on the back of the center caps as far as color? I guess this was PAS doings?

The typhoon I am about to scoop up has black color. Something I noticed on my truck, and the teal typhoon a while back.
