I'm sure people are going to want to know what mounts, and oil pan you used.

I like that it's some new technology that looks almost like it came from the factory there.

Looks sweet. Are you planning on putting A/C back in it? If not, why keep the a/c heater box?

Thanks.

Mounts were from Turbotime, and so was the oil pan. Although for whatever reason neither the mounts or the oil pan fit and we ended up modifying them to work. I am sure Turbotime would have taken care of the issue, but i didn't want to pester him and waste all the time shipping back and forth, especially when we have a complete fab shop in house.

Yes that was the goal all along. In fact the condensor is still there too. I will be a winter project though. Just wanted to get some miles on it this summer. Luckily this summer we didn't have anything hotter than high 80's. Gotta like Wisconsin:D

Nice! Good to see another cheesehead (even though I'm a transplant I've been in Madison long enough to consider myself a native) with a Typhoon. Lookin good  If I EVER get mine finished we'll have to meet up some weekend. I know there's at least 1 other person in Madison and quite a few towards Milwaukee.

No turbo whine, but still sounds awesome. Nice truck.

We still have supercharger whine though.
Thanks. I am typically a turbo guy myself, but the packaging and time constraints didn't allow us to use turbos. That was the orignial plan though. It was a lot of hard work, but it paid off. We took the truck to Milwaukee and back, and averaged 18mpg, even dragging the Kenne Bell the whole way.

Truckless. For now.
Re: Thank you to everyone on Syty.net LS1 swap

what did you do for the suspension? just replace stock components or upgrade anything? Your setup + the ability to handle would be killer

Actually completely forgot about the suspension. We used the QA1 coilovers in front and Rear. (torsion bar delete). The suspension actually works pretty good. We ended up reinforcing the upper control armin the front to help deal with the added stress.

I have a couple questions. You mentioned a fab shop. Any chance you would make oil pan and mounts that fit with the 4l80-e? The mounts you bought that didn't work, do you think the problem is because of the 80e tranny? Can you make or would you be interested in making another set of headers? I am almost ready to pull my engine ( as soon as I get a ls-1) and do a swap.
