Ok last week i closed the deal on the Syclone that started it all for me. First some background on this truck. This Syclone was originally owned buy a friend of mines father Bill, he purchased it new in 1991. Bill owned a Shell service station and had some very nice cars at the time. He always keep all his toys in pristine condition. I can remember seeing it for the first time when i was 17 years old. I was instantly obsessed with some day owning one for myself. The following year Bill must of inspired his neighbor because he bought a Typhoon. I would ask him questions about it when ever i saw him outside washing it. I loved the idea of having back seats. I told him if he ever sells it to call me id be interested in buying it. Hey we can all dream right!!!. I was 18 and still in high school, i worked at a car stereo shop part time i think i made 150 a week. Hardly enough o buy a 25,000 truck. LOL.

Skip forward 2 years I graduated high school went full time at the car audio shop and was making some decent money. I got a call from my friend that his neighbors Ty was going to get traded in on a caddi. I went an knocked on his door and asked if i could buy it. He told me to meet him at the Cadillac dealership. He would trade it in so i could buy it. Well i did just that!! Thats how i got Typhoon #999 and 23 years later its still in my garage. Dream realized!!

Fast forward to last month i get a call from Bill. (Hey Frank Im looking to sell my Syclone are you interested) Hell yes i said. I went to go look the truck, its been 15 years or so since i seen it last. It was still in great condition then so i figured it be in fair condition sill. Well i was wrong Bill had the truck frame off restored and it looked brand new!! Even though i all ready Owned a bad ass Syclone and a Typhoon I could not resist buying this Truck on the spot. Now i own the truck that got me started and the one that was parked in the garage right next door to it 24 years ago. Crazy Right.

Here is a video of the syclone..

Great looking Syclone Frank! Who ever did the frame off did an excellent job! Question is, are you going to leave it in close to stock condition?

I think this one is going to leave this one way it is. It has a few ATR upgrdes Turbo,Wastegate, downpipe, intercooler, double pumper fuel system and pit bull chip. It runs strong. With the other 2 i have i dont see the need to play around with this one. I may sell it down the road who knows! For now im happy to have it in the garage.

Love this truck. I seen the videos pop up on YouTube. Who did the restoration?

Nice find.

These trucks will only appreciate in value(at least the unmolested ones).

I just picked up a pristine 31K mile Syclone as well!

Now I have a Dr Jekyll and a Mr Hyde.
