Hey, first of all congrats on the SiCK lookin truck! Now then, I have a stock syclone radio that I need to part with, just another thing in my dads garage that he bugs me about. pm me later for some talk about it. L8er and congrats again!

Forgive the noob question, but didn't 93 Tys come with CD player? So a Syclone radio would not be the same.

Sawdoff,
I tried to find one in Siberia, but was unsuccessful. So I went to the next furthest place...Anchorage Alaska. Seriously, it's from Alaska.

Sy1172,
We've spoken...you asked about the Sy I had for sale maybe two months ago. I'm in Blue Bell area of Montgomery County.

congrats, I bought my truck off ebay also from a dealer in Iowa, although the motor was bad the rest of the truck was mint, and the dealer paid for my motor, by the way keep it lowered I love it but change your shocks.:syty:

I didn't buy it "blind" off of ebay. The truck had a known history in the SyTy community, so I knew a little about it before bidding. If not, I'm not sure I would ever buy off of ebay unless it was local. It's risky, as you know. Safer with dealers, but still risky.

With the sale of the Syclone, it all evened out. Nothing out of pocket.

This might be one of the longest distance SyTy purchases of all time: 4300+ miles
And shipping was very close to $3,000, but the seller agreed to help out with the freight out of Alaska.

Any idea what dealer in Anchorage sold it new? My truck was bought new in Anchorage, AK so Im just curious if both trucks were sold at the same dealer.

The truck was out originally out of Oregon. In fact, there are some old photos of it with Oregon plates and funky graphics on Sytyauthority or wherever the trucks are listed in number order.

Jimmy (et al),
So, there is no difference between a Sy radio with CD and the 93 Ty radio? I just wanna be factory correct when I rip the old-skool Kenwood out.

Thanks!!

Tyson's mom's in Tampa? I think that truck broke 30k miles. If it's a different one, send me the details. I might know someone interested. (unfortunately, not my wife. )

Chris:
Yes, you're right. My dream "car" is in the garage.

Adam:

Sy,Ty,SGT radios are all the same.
I thought that CD players were not available in Syclones and that the EQ was different on the cassette decks between '91 and '92.
