Traction Lift Bars

I was looking on the internet and found some cool information. Anyone ever heard of traction lift bars or better yet has anyone ever used them. I know the buick GNX had them. A company makes them for a S-10. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The GNX used a type of ladder bar attached to the frame near the transmission. This was quite effective in controlling rear axle wrap up and wheel hop during hard launches. When you brake torque the motor, the rear of the vehicle actually raises up somewhat due to the ladder bar reacting the torque into the car chassis. This is just one way to control rear axle motion during hard acceleration. Good luck.

caltracs are a good choice for our trucks but I know Al Dustan is coming up with a new bolt on rear suspension upgrade.
