Re: traffic signals central PA

It's weird seeing how much bigger they are when on the ground.

Maybe I watch too much "American Pickers" but 10 bucks (starting bid) for a pile of these?? Repaint, wire with interior blinking lights...and you've got a great garage or restaurant piece.

Yeah, they are huge when not suspended over the road!

this is a fun website btw. Old cop cars/trucks and school buses for cheap. (actually, the Tahoes and Dodge Chargers bring some good money)

i'm pretty sure i know what intersection these came from. They changed an intersection to the black housing lights recently. Fun fact!

Oh, I must've contorted two different auctions. Thanks.

I'll be in touch...I might buy a set if they don't get outrageously expensive.

I'll be in State College on May 1 (someone wants me to see Garth Brooks :rotf:) and can pick them up then.

Steve, If you happen to get lucky enough to buy these, I would buy a set from you. As long as they are reasonably priced. ($50 or less) for the triple lights...Jim

Re: traffic signals central PA

Just bid on 5 sets of traffic lights. If I get some/all of them, I would appreciate it if Mike could pick these up for me. And also, depending on how many I get, Mike and Steve would be first in line if they would like some. Thanks guys...Jim

Re: traffic signals central PA

i can easily pick them up for you. The municipal building is about 50yds out of my way on my drive to/from work.

I'd take a light if you don't need/want them all. but i don't have a big need for one really. My wife already things i hoard too much crap.

Thanks. I will not bid against you but am interested in at least one (same deal...as long as reasonable <50). Good luck. I would pick these up (if I have room) for you (from Mike) and get them a little further east.

I've been ignoring this thread. I thought it was for the Syclone drag-strip Starting Tree.

If those housings are aluminum (I think they are) the scrap value is higher than $10. maybe they're some type of pot metal instead?

Bidding is getting up there. I hope you guys are serious about taking a couple of these. I am currently winning 4 lots. Will know for sure tomorrow...Jim
