Where is the part number stamped on the valvebody? I can see are 2 number but they are only 3 or 4 digits. The only part number that I can see is stamped on the 1-2 Accumulator.

Here's part numbers for a 93 Ty. These won't work on a Sy or a 92 Ty unless your tranny has the added checkball on the valve body side. These are still good part numbers and are available. There was a case change in between 92 and 93.
8683255 BODY VALVE TYPHOON

8681285 SPACER PLATE

That spacer plate is a "GS" plate used on 3LHM trannies as came in 93 Typhoons.
HTH someone.

So I pulled the tranny today and I don't know what I have...

On the driver side by the governor, the tranny has a raised stamp of 8676359 (according the the above website St/ty trannies are 8673943, 8673982, & 8685980) I couldn't find a 1LHM, 2LHM or 3LHM anywhere on the tranny. Anyone have an idea what I have? Any other clues (markings) to figuire out what I have?

Is the sticker that was inside the die cast relief on the top of the bell housing still intact? I'll send you a layout of mine if it will help.

Pop the snapring out of the 2-4 servo and pull the lineup out and see if the servo has an 093 on it.
Go here:

Scroll down to the servo info and it will show you were to look circled in red.
How many checkballs did your valve body have in it? 2 or 3?I'm just talking about the valve body. Not the case checkballs.
One other thing to do is pull the accumulator valve out and look at the sleeve.

Don't pay any attention to the TV limit valve lineup, ours doesn't look like that. Just look at the aluminum accumulator sleeve itself after you pull out the roll pin.
If it is a syty tranny, there will be a "B" somewhere on it. This partly determines the shift firmness.
The TV plunger should also have a 94 on the end of it.
Look at the separater plate. If it has a "DT" on it, it is a 1LHM(1991) or a 2LHM(1992). If it has a "GS" on it, it is a 3LHM(1993 model)
Let me know if this helps.

It is unreadable. The tranny itself was rebuilt 1000 miles ago and looks relatively cleann, but it looks like the shop cleaned off the sticker. I was hoping that I would not have to disassemble the tranny.

The best way I can think without doing a whole lot of disassembly is just to pull the valvebody off and look at the separator plate. Lots of different 700r4s will use the exact same case. Case doesn't tell you what it was for. Those two letters on the separator plate can tell you loads as it can tell you what type of tranny it is(many, many different 700r4s). Then you can look up what kind of cars it was used in.

You can pull the servo relatively easy and not tear the blue seal. Tearing the blue seal just makes it easier to get out. Just lube up everything with petroleum jelly before you put it back in and put it back in in the correct order, pop in the snap ring and no big deal.

On the valve body you are just talking about a couple paper gaskets on it as far as purchasing stuff. I'm kinda anal though. If you are gentle, the gaskets can be reused.
Just depends on how serious you are about finding out what exactly you have. The case itself won't tell you if it is a syty. That's why it is highly recommended that people get their old one rebuilt instead of replaced.
If it shifts fine(firm)and at the correct points, don't worry yourself about it.

This was very helpful, I finallly got around to digging into the tranny. It has the correct 093 servo, 94 TV plugger , B accumulator, .471 boost valve and DT seperator plate.
