Transmission Cable replacement.

I bent my Tranny cable (the one that attaches to the shift lever in the cab PRNODD21) Do I have to drop the tranny to R&R this?

is it the shift cable, f so are ty and sy the same. If they are I have a brand new one used for three days. let me know

yes they are the same.

Sy and ty's are the same. I swapped mine from my sy to the ty while I waited for the new one to arrive. Dal can get you one for around $120. I'll get my receipt tomorrow if you need the part number.
