Transmission filter opinions

Going through parts for trans upgrade.. looking at a filter I purchase years ago and one that came in the package.

I'm just wondering some outside input that's all..

The TCI filter description said it flows more and is for high heat racing applications.

Other filter is obviously wider, pick up is on bottom vs. The top on TCI filter. Can't find my original for a visual on what I removed before

inlet on the top could help with keeping trash out of the filter

Use the SPX FILTRAN brand 700R4 filter. The other filter is a 2004R, and it will uncover easier on hard acceleration. I use this in everything that I have ever built. It is the best at protecting the pump.

Using a +2 qt deep pan. Will I need a extension piece to put the filter further down into the pan? I think the other filter has a longer piece. Maybe it is removable? You can kind of see it on the TCI filter
