I would use the factory fan controller. My truck stalled out at idle when the fan kicked on until adjusted fan anticaption IAC counts in code 59.

Finally finished Polishing my Turbo. Next is taking the Exhaust housing off to get Ceramic Coated black. I also painted the center section with some 2000* header paint.

Hi Sean I have a question in the third pic what oil return flange is that? I have been looking for one just like it and cannot find one. It would work perfect for me my drain is just a hair to short from my new turbo setup.

To be honest not sure. It came on the Turbo when I bought it. I would imagine they have flange extensions on Ebay or something. Sorry.

My PTE turbo came with that extension. I would contact PTE directly for the extension.

Hey Sean I know I have never met you but I live near you here in Illinois i was wondering where are you getting your exhaust ceramic coated? By the way your engine compartment looks unbelievable. Lots of work WOW.

I sanded the casting marks with a drill and sanding drums, then I wet sanded it followed by polishing compound on my bench polisher.

Hey Sean,

I browsed back a few pages.. (16,17) I was looking for a idea on how you finished off the coil/ map sensor bracket and the other rounder one attached to it .

Only asking because I know you have similar if not the same tall alum. Valve covers. I don't think the bracket fits well and I remember a thread with a spacer of some sort. My idea was to try to extend the harness and vac hoses and relocate them else where. Just wondering how you finished it off.. Or if you used the spacer and how it fits.

I'll snap a pic for you of what I did. I used some spacers that I believe are for sway bar links that I had laying around which spaced the Map/Coil bracket up perfectly.

Removed the rest of the A/C parts and next is getting the Heater box out. Had to remove the Valve cover for clearance to get the box out.

Sean, why not leave the A/C on the truck? Be very cool to see a 10 sec pass with stock bottom end with A/C. . .
