Morgan - which version of Ultimate did you have? do you know? Big difference in performance between the versions. I have 7 updates out, and I was working on a new one, but I'm scratching that idea.

Brain, I had the Version 7 at the time. It was Ed's chip that he had brought out to have updated when you guys did your whole truck swapping deal.

I never said that your chips were bad, I just said its not for me. plain and simple. people can take that however they wish.

Personally, i too and getting sick and tired of the whole SyTy deal, once its fixed, im just not gonna drive it anymore.

I think it would be a great idea to list what mods are recommended with the ultimate somewhere. But, that isn't going to ensure that people are going to read it anymore thatn they are going to do a search here.

As far as responsibility, it is the buyer's responsibility to know what they are getting into, and ask questions. I have found that it is better to annoy a dealer with tons of questions before the sale, they're more responsive that way. The problem is that when it comes to this type of addiction impatience overrides intelligence.

As for myself, I am removeing my pitbull and putting in an ultimate. I am new to this, and understand that it WILL take some tuning.

Engine calibrations are never plug and play.period. Plug and play is a new air filter. It takes time and effort to build a truck/car that runs the kind of times guys are looking for from these trucks. I have never seen an engine built, installed, and run that didn't require a little tweaking to get it right. Essentially this is what you are doing, changing all the running characteristics of your engine.
