Unless direct action is requested by Mike, I'm not even going to drive by the shop. No sense in getting involved. I've got too much to risk (career, and even life...it's not a nice part of town) to go in demanding money from a stranger.
Now, if you want to fly out and do some head knocking, I have a place for you to crash at. Just not sticking my nose someplace where it doesn't belong.
Great job on tracking him down though, props for that.

I spoke to his boss, and let him know what he did! I told him to tell Juan to do the right thing and pay for the part he stole, and I let him know we know where he lives!

I know everyone is trying to help, but i would caution against things like getting boss involved and telling him what happened, neighbors, etc.
If this guy is a scammer, i wouldnt put it past him to try and contact an attorney and somehow flip it that people are trying to collect on behalf of OP and bring a FDCPA suit against OP.

Seriously, I don't have a dog in the fight but don't want to see a vendor all of a sudden getting hit with the threat of a $150k lawsuit for FDCPA violations because unbeknownst to them, people, on their behalf, whether requested or not, were giving information to his job about all of this.
Wanna go to his house? Talk with him directly? No problema. But when you start involving 3rd parties, it can get messy if the guy is a jackass and thief.
