Pulled the pistons out of the block and honed the cylinders. Found a crack that runs from one of the headbolts Iinto the cylinder and down about 1.5". Guess its time to punt.

Wow, A) Very nice radiator cover!! B) Broken ring. I had that happen to and old 454 I had. Sounded like the worse rod knock you ever heard. Pulled it apart one broken ring was it. C) Sorry about the crack. Was the block over-bored? How much?

I made something similar, except mine is made out of thin sheet metal so I could weld a tab to attach the electric fan to. Mine is flipped over compared to yours so my turbo oil feed line runs underneath it. Yours looks good.

Cleaned up some of the wires and plugs that are not being used, a quick mock of the block plate and moved the alky kit, still need to get a brush and some soap and start cleaning all that oil and that yellow crap at the firewall
Cleaned the wiring under dash, ran the alky, wb02 and scanmaster wires to a more "clean" install
Still need to set scanmaster in place, I hated it up on the dash by the pillar gauges.
