Here is a quick picture of my new front brakes. 18" Y2K factory rims with C6 Z51 brakes front and rear.

Nice mod. I took a 4.5" hand grinder and removed the raised "corvette" from mine (installed on the Aspen) and then coated them with yellow Hi-Temp caliper paint. Yours, done in gloss black or red, would look killer IMO.

Thanks T-Bone. My calipers will be getting done in black with gray Typhoon writing on them eventually. The wheels are going to be painted dark gray with black GMC on the center cap.. I had some Typhoon stickers made up a while back to match the arch of the Corvette letters. I'm planning on grinding them all off and painting over them.

Drove it 280 miles running bad.
70 mph and throttle released = 0.51 a/f 12.1
Give it some gas throttle = 0.80 a/f 18.0 and LEAN from gauge
Give it some more gas, throttle = 1.2 a/f 15.5
Wtf is going on when throttle is in just a little?

Today I found out that its not the rim that caused a bad vibration at speed over 50mph. It was one of the new wintertires...

ok, better a bad tire than a bad rim :D

Should be down around 30. Adjust the throttle stop screw, IE open the throttles a bit to bring it down. It's rather sensitive so you'll ned th motor warmed up, idling and logging to see your results.

BTW credit Eric at TurboTweak for this. I had to learn it from him.

Mine has always been around .47
Rightnow at .48 it idles around 700rpm hot.
Last night after I shut off the truck I noticed that my low meth led light from the alky kit stays on after I shut the power off and slowly starts to turn off, after 5 min the led was still on but just barely.

Re: What did you do to your SyTy today? (part 2)

Looked at it in my garage and decided not to drive it due to the extreme cold and the probability of cladding getting broken due to ice chunks...:( happened last year with a rocker panel... Stupid ice... Where is global warming now Mr al gore? The record was broke in Siberia for the coldest temp ever recorded last week... Global warming / al gore are liars along with oh you can keep your doctor and your plan lying sack of shit Barack Obama!

# 2414

Factory C6 Z06 18x9.5s stick out..

Just curious how you compensated for the difference in front and rear wheel diameters so your transfer case doesn't get fragged....other than that concern, the look is quite snazzy

Im running 245/45/18s and 325/30/19s Nitto Invos
Nittos Site shows .05" Difference were as Summit
shows (325s) 26.77" n (245s) 26.69" = a .08" Diff

I will add a few psi to the fronts if I need to..

Thanx
