I have a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE950's on my truck and I really like them. Not only do they grip really well, but they also have a high tread-life warantee (I can't remember exactly how high). When it came time for me to buy a set, I compared several different tires on tirerack.com and the 950's had the same ratings as the $200 Michelin Pilot Sports.

I have SZ50EPs on the Sy right now. Stock, running 13.8 at close to 98mph with a crappy 1.9 60'. On the street, they don't break loose unless I punch it while turning a corner. Even in the rain they don't slip. With 25k or so on them, they still look great. They are a bit spendy though. I looked at RE730s also, but I read a lot of complaints about their noise after a while. Then again, I don't think you'd notice it too much on our super-aerodynamic trucks... With AWD it's not as big a deal, but the SZ50s are relatively narrow compared to other tires of the same size too.

Also, SZ50s suck in the snow. You probably aren't planning on 4x4ing with it, but we got a couple inches the week after I bought mine, and it handled worse than my bald Dunlop 4000's...

when you get them for the phoon you will have to go with the KD they dont make the KDW in our size, also get the 255 instead of the 245 because BFG's look skinny and are physically skinneir than a say good year 245

Just so you know, the RE730's are down right dangerous in snow or ice, so where ever you are, if you get freezing weather stay away from them :(

They do make them in our size. I have KDW on the Sy. I may try the KD's next time

We dont get much and I have a work truck I can drive. I just want the stickiest tire with above a 200 treadwear. Need that for the class I run. Right now I have firestone tvx on the front that are wore out. And I have OHTSU on the back.

If that's the case, I'd recommend them. I used to use them as SCCA Autocross events on a car of mine, and they were excellent in terms of traction.
