Help me convince

Help me convince a fellow member to not sell his Ty to buy a Porsche 911 turbo6 speed vs a C6-Z06 that may be a few thousand more. Bring on the Porsche hate and at least some GM love, and possibly, not sell his Ty. I'd rather see him drop an LS in it........Please.......

Let us convince him that is better to be small in stature in the pants, then fornicate with men, just ask T-bone.

Do they have a bunch of porches and z06's ? We could organize a large group trade and swap straight up if they like .LOL

No, no, no ,no ,no, no, no. Stay away from the devil Porsche's and stick to GM. Especially for a few grand more. Just sayin......

And the person in"question", has already posted. Also, just sayin.......

I couldn't stomach a repair bill on that porsche, with the ZO6 at least you know it would be manageable.

911 Turbos are so much easier to work on. But I still prefer a Typhoon.
Edit: I should clarify. 911 Turbos are easier to work on than Typhoons. I have not worked on a C6 Z06.

911 Turbo = split tail falling out of your pockets!

Typhoon = dumb questions about body kits and comments about being a drug dealer.

Who cares about price, you're looking at 911's and C6's, whats a few more bucks to get something that everyone else doesnt have.

Thats the main reason why I like Typhoons, you rarely ever see another one on the road and nobody knows what it is

Oh, I agree with you. I'm just saying that there's no way the OP was talking about a (real) slantnose or a 997 GT2 if a C6 Z06 is "a few thousand more". A 930 wouldn't be a 6-speed either. You could conceivably get into a 996 GT2 in that price range though.

im the one who wants a 911 over the c6z. don't get me wrong ..the z06 is badass.. but the 911 you just don't see a lot and plus the interior is better then the z06. im looking at a 2001 911 turbo.

Hope you got the finances to just service it , never mind the inevitable repair bills.

I work on them all day long. Do not buy a Turbo prior to 2004. There is a reason they are at the bottom of the 911 Turbo price range. Google the problems, you bettter have deep pockets. Nothing is cheap to fix on them.
