Adjusting torsion bars???

numerous people tell me that adjusting my torsion bars to lower my vehicle is a very bad idea. What would be the best way to lower my truck a good 2 inches?

only way to lower... unless you go coilovers.

Crank it to where to want it then go get an alignment. thats all.

Not getting one after making height adjustments is bad on tires.
