Damn...was it in Park? I mean, was the engine reved up in park and then the shifter moved down to "Drive" while the engine was still reved up? Last time I saw one broken like that, the parking pawl and case was also cracked because pawl rotated with it
Happened to my brother's full size with a 700. He was towing a trailer full of wood and reved it up, forgot it was in park, pulled it down to Drive....kaboom! Parts looked just like that.
Dicked up his output shaft too.

nope, i was coming off a stop sign, and wasnt even on it, then i'm like fuck it. full throttle, and it reved up, and didnt wanna move after the next light....

nothing. that top piece is till one piece. almost broke all the way, but it didnt......


just went through it, and it lookd fined. just cleaned it up, and back together it went.

Nice paperweight ! The best that I could do was tear my sprag in two and strip all the teeth out of my planetary carrier. But, I'm sure that I will have the opportunity to break it again down the road .
