Re: 1992 Prototype Syclone - $12,500 FIRM
Maybe a little harsh. Might be a little better way of asking to verify statements. Good luck with the sale man. I just sold mine and very sad to see it go but I couldnt hold out a year for another couple of...
Re: Quicksale on my Syclone w/ 89K + Xtra motor & tranny
sort of, it is going to a former Syclone owner and member who is back in the game. He's getting a lot of goodies for the money so its a great start for someone.
Re: Quicksale on my Syclone w/ 89K + Xtra motor & tranny
I have the pitbull chip in BOTH ecu's. I do not have the original water intercooler for this truck. Both motors have a complete air to air intercooler set up with all the tubing and silicone straps. The reason for spending the money on...
So here's the deal. I don't drive it and don't have room for it. Iv been parking it in my garage since i bought it. I paid too much for the truck but it had 80K miles, original wheels, a nice intercooler setup, and clean interior. Within 2 months I had taken it to RPM for plugs wires and a few...
Re: o rings for the oil lines??
Thanks Walller....what type of washer style gasket do I need? I I probally need that coz those line may have been off of a s-10 or something. Is it just a deaer item??
Re: o rings for the oil lines??
I only had the grooves that fit the o rings perfectly in the side that go to the oil coller. On the other side there was no groove, it looks like it just sits together without o rings
Am i right in saying that there are o rings needed on the oil line connection from the cooler to the filter housing but no o rings needed on the other side between the connection form the filter to the motor?

Re: ABS and disc brake question
I just received a whole rear drum to disc conversion from SSBC. It does not have a place for the ABS sensor so will have to modify. Some people like to delete the ABS but I am reulctant to steer too far awy from stock. And you cant half uninstall the ABS coz if...
Re: What do you guys think about my intercooler?
Being that these trucks are already 17 years old, people are moving toward getting them looking as stock as possible. Any cosmetic mods that are made should only be to compliment the stock look. I know that I am much more impressed by the work it...
Re: A HUGE shout out to SSBC brakes for customer service
Well obviously im sure they would rather it never happened, however things do happen but its how its handled that is important. They wanted the faulty caliper to see if it had been grinded to fit under a wheel or dropped. After seeing...
A few months ago I was driving my sy which had an older ssbc front calipers and pads on it, when i heard a noise while braking. I drove the truck home and let it idle in my driveway while i investigate this issue. While idling i pressed hard on the brake pedal and this time a huge sound and the...
Im pulling my motor today. it has blown piston rings. I am also pulling the tranny along with it as I experienced slipping. I looked in the tranny pan and there is plenty of metal fragments to be found. Ill separate the tranny from the motor once they are both out. I have a new motor going so...
