like the title says..when I floor it the tranny won't shift till it reach about 5000rpm at 1-2 shift and 5500rpm at 2-3 and wouldn't even shift 3-4 at wot. I already tried adjusting the tv cable many many times but without success, and the tv cable is not broken. is there any way to lower shift...

Re: It's not running again... were the plugs wet when you pulled it out? If you tried starting it for a while you could also check if your oil smells like gas, if yes its drowned and even if everything is plugged right it isn't gonna start

Re: It's not running again... when I first changed my cap/rotor/wires/spark plugs on my sy I noticed when putting it all back together that the dist has been turned 1/6th of a turn counterclockwise so my firing order was 6-5-4-3-2-1 instead of 1-6-5-4-3-2 and the truck wouldnt start.. i didn't...

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today? I took the tranny out, found out that the front propshaft has been damaged and is spitting grease everywhere. did an oil and filter change, cleaned the throttle body and upper intake along with the injectors, checked all turbo flanges just to be sure...

Re: well.. i blew the tranny again The Sy will be stored for winter from now to april 1st. I'll sell the spare 700r4 that I have along with the 4L60e and wait till then and go 80e. You're right.. racing is basically why i bought this truck.. so that's the way I'll go.

Re: Three bad cylinders! Yeah, I think you toasted the rings too.. if adding oil to your compression test shows you 15% more compression you just found your problem. Maybe you should do a cylinder leak test just to be sure, it could be a scratched cylinder too. I don't know about gapless...

Re: crossover rubbing on frame It's seems to be only down on the passenger side.. I would do the engine tie down to keep it from twisting under load. No I'm not 100% positive its the mounts but sure enough.

Re: crossover rubbing on frame Thanks alot man, if I go solid..does it matter if I already have a poly trans mount? and if I plan on doing 500whp with solid mounts..will I need to reinforce the frame in any way since the frame would want to twist?

Re: well.. i blew the tranny again I doubt there is any more crap into the lines etc.. all I found in the tranny was big metal chunks there wasn't any kind of grounded metal on the magnets and/or fluid. I have an electric fan installed directrly onto the tranny cooler, and i let it cool down...
