    93 TY part-out Feeler

Re: 93 TY part-out Feeler Thanks. That's a ways from me, but we'll see. I say, sell it with the shortblock to some poor sucker like me who can't afford a good one! Someone with more time than money can make a runner out of it.

    93 TY part-out Feeler

Re: 93 TY part-out Feeler I hate to see it parted out, but if it was I'm looking for big parts that cost a lot to ship. Where's it located?

What documents did a new owner get with new purchase? (Window Sticker, COA..etc)

Re: What documents did a new owner get with new purchase? (Window Sticker, COA..etc) Yes please! This kind of thing is right up my alley. I bought a $75 owners manual on fleabay for my '99 diesel because it was killing me that I never got one when I bought the truck with 289,000mi on it! I'd...

Time to Sell some Parts (who can host pics?)

Re: Time to Sell some Parts (who can host pics?) Of course the stuff I want is the first to get called 'dibs'... I'm interested in the CD, Book, Typhoon upper, and ATR intake if no one comes through on them. I'm just throwing this out there now. If you part your Ty out I want first dibs on...

    Title trouble...

Re: Title trouble... You said it. A "shame". Not to worry, it will not be 'junked'. I didn't wait 20yrs to get one of these so I could part it out. F* that! I'll drive it with no tags/reg if I have to. But I don't have to because I can title it 'built from parts' if nothing else.

    What's a "2 step"?

Re: What's a "2 step"? Yeah, your right. I should have searched elsewhere, but I honestly thought it was a SyTy thing. Doesn't mean I shouldn't have still tried, I just figured a google search would lead me back here! And maybe this thread will help some other newbie in the future. If that...

    What's a "2 step"?

Re: What's a "2 step"? I was working in NY earlier this year and snapped a pic of a royal on LI as I drove by. It was parked at a garage on the corner of Myrtle and 88th. (I can't remember where exactly. That's just what's in the pic) Thought it might have been yours!

    What's a "2 step"?

Re: What's a "2 step"? I like the brake idea. Turn it 'on' with the cruise, activate by stepping on the brake. Gives the driver less extra stuff to do. Pay more attention to the tree and the launch. But I'm just talking out my.... 'cause I've never done it before!

    What's a "2 step"?

Re: What's a "2 step"? Haha, I'm thinking like the new stuff where the cruise goes through the computer. I guess it's a seperate electronic that is spliced in however the owner chooses. What do most syty guys use? Seems like it would help you lauch better. How did you solve the...

    What's a "2 step"?

Re: What's a "2 step"? Explain this to me. Your foot is still on the brake, right? It just holds a certain RPM for a more consistent launch with less wheel spin. Wouldn't it be the same as doing it 'the old fashioned way' with better driver control? I'm familiar with a 2 stage rev-limiter...

    What's a "2 step"?

I have seen it mentioned a couple times, and I tried to search it but the search only returns 'step' so I didn't have much luck. Thanks for putting up with my flat-ish learning curve!

    Title trouble...

Re: Title trouble... Yes. Until it's 25yrs old, then CO will allow a person to apply for a 'builders title' which could be done using the original VIN. I was at the main DMV office last week with not much else to do but read their literature...

    Title trouble...

Re: Title trouble... Not true. I can sell it to someone in a state that allows it to be rebuilt.(If there are any. Seems RI might be one) I can wait 5 more years and apply for a 'rebuilders' title in CO. Or apply for a 'specially constructed' title in my home state. Which is the direction...

    Title trouble...

Re: Title trouble... For 'salvage' titles that's how it works in most states. It has to be inspected by the highway patrol and then it's issued a new title that says 'formerly salvage'. But a 'junk' title is different. That means parts only-never to be retitled in any way. The form says in...
