I can't find the LHM code on my transmission? There are some other numbers stamped but they are large on the side. Believe the LHM should be stamped near the pan somewhere.

The big black latch spins and feels loose when I try to open the glass or the tailgate on the Ty. Please see the image. Should the lock cylinder spin in the "holder"? Or should it be pressed in to fit tight? Now it is spinning and that doesn't seem right.

I'm changing the fluid and notice this plug is unplugged! 700R4 is new to me but I'm assuming it's the TC lockup solenoid plug? Why would the previous owner have unplugged it? TC wearing out? lockup solenoid bad? Are there some common defects that unplugging this would mask? Suppose...
