yea, let us know when they figure out what a cuase was.. Have you done work to it lately?.. sorry to hear about the truck... is insurance gonna cover some of it? or any of it..

Tom as much as we hate to see it, get the pics posted up and let's see if it's salvageable. I'm going to have enough parts to build another truck. Let's see if what we can do if anything.

This is one thing I was always afraid of,that is why I turn my battery off evertime I get out.How did you make out with the insurance company

yeah, i was pretty messed up about it. It really really sucks. I had so many plans and ideas for her. I started savin up for a forged internals/head and cam and a nice paint job ect. I know she wasnt the cleanest or the fastest but she was mine and i put alot of sweat and frustrations into that truck(with alot of help from you guys).:tup: anyway heres some pics.

Its fixable though, I hate seeing them parted out. Yes is going to be work but if you were going to put in a better engine anyway whats some wiring and paint. Take the insurance money and fix it up and it will really be your own and super nice!
For reference we are currently gathering up parts for a project for my dad http://rides.webshots.com/album/566963428OrVFIp
Guy rebuilt the engine took it for a spin and the starter wire burnt on the downpipe and started the fire, went through the hole were the ecm wires go and set the inside on fire.

Man, those pictures make MY stomach turn. Its deff fixable though (with alot of elbow grease, time and money).

As a fellow fireman, I could honestly say that would make me sick pulling up on that thing burning.
If you can't fix it, hopefully you will rescue another of it's kin and stay with the community.
