For those of you with Addco sway bars, are you using the 8" end links that the factory suggests? These seem excessively long and are impossible to find without special ordering them. I've been talking to Addco so for those of you interested in end links read on.
According to Addco, a factory ride height truck supposedly uses an end link kit number 017 with a functional height of 8". A truck like mine with a 1" drop needs a functional length of 7". Unfortunately the next shorter kit Addco makes is kit number 007 with a functional height of 6 1/4". This would work fine for a 2" drop truck but to get exactly the right fuctional height on a 1" drop truck you need to get an 8" kit and cut the spacer tubes down an inch. That's what the Addco tech support guy recommends. Any feedback? Perhaps the auto-x guys could tell us how critical the end link issue really is to your sway bar's performance.
