Im planning on fiberglass but it will be some time for some reason i decided to move the same weekend as homecoming and my life is in boxes

I don't think its a PAS number either. PAS didn't install the engine, (GM assembly lines did) and often the numbers are too low to be added at PAS.

Im not afraid to admit when Im wrong Ill call some of the guys who worked at Pontiac assy and ask them perhaps they can shed some light and "decode" them I do know alot more of the typhoons was assembled at pontiac than the syclone like the cladding mounts, and such

I bought a atr and tweaked it a little bit, it works very good,that turbo blanket really helped also.

not sure if this is coincidence or not, but the truck picked up two tenths by just adding them two items and a nice cool night on lower boost than normal....

not surprised Im sure the turbo blanket did most of it as keeping the heat in a turbo helps alot

Just the turbo blanket makes a huge difference ill add one someday when i decide if the wifes truck is getting a 20g or not probably have housing ceramic coated too (just the outside) along with downpipe

Headers or manifolds? I was discussing heat with a buddy who works for a engine builder and he said they do everything possible to keep heat in the turbo and pipes to keep the velocity of the exhaust gasses up to help with spool. Did you notice a difference in spool time after the blanket ?

seems faster,but it was always real fast with the 2 step,atr headers,from a roll it seems to spool a bit faster

I was led to believe the low turbo coolant light was intended to work but for some reason they didn't. I thought I heard one of the pas guys say they ran out of time, or money, gm said f-it or something.... If Koss comes to homecoming I'll ask for you...:tup:

I need to get creative and come up with a way to bring it right off the turbo and delete the cross tube totally like the rest of you have.
