I get tickets all the time in Cali. in my Impala SS. I just got used to zip tieing it to my grill, getting it signed off, and then cut it off afterwards. I suggest putting some stick on foam on the backside of the plate to prevent marring the grill. see ya, Paul Z.

umm so are you saying that you've made them since June 2k or something? if so that's great but I remember right after I did the deed.. someone posted up asking if they made factory brackets or what have you and the members said no then you said you'll be making a run of them or some shit. I was like wtf figures my luck oh well it's not a show only truck anyways

I think one of the dumbest things to do is question the officer. If I were a cop and someone told me that they will never put it on or asked why I dont bother other cars without it, its asking for a ticket. I just yes them to death and be respectful. Thats how I always get out of my tickets for everything! A buddy of mine gets pulled over all the time. He get tickets b/c he gives them an attitude, now they actually hunt him down just to harass him! Yeah they prob dont have to give tickets for stupid BS like that but it doesnt give you a reason to question them. thats just my opinion

heres an idea for all the people that dont like putting a front plate on, go get a cool personalized plate that people will have to turn there heads for and youll enjoy the attention. lol

I'm with you on this. The only thing you will accomplish by giving a cop attitude is a bunch of points and a fat fine. I think you have to be an idoit to mouth off, but then again I guess that explains why some mouth off.

its $75 for no front plate?!?!?!?!

now i know theres a couple cops on here, and i would love to hear their input on this. But to me, tickets like this or tickets for window tint and other stupid shit, make me lose all respect for cops. I just don't understand it, what do cops have to gain by writing fix it tickets?

I seriously want to know.

:roll: Why would you lose all respect for them if they are doing their job? And would you rather them write you a non fix it ticket so you have to pay a fine and possibly get points? Doesn't make sense to me :dunno:

You do know that after Nov 1st of this year we don't have to have a front plate anymore right? Just checking.

I did not know that. That's awesome now that I have a different front bumper cover that already had holes drilled in it. I mounted the plate just to avoid any more crap for it and now they change the law. Cool......... :tdown: Oh well, I guess when I get rich and buy my next Sy and maybe a Ty, I wont have to drill anything it those. :woot:

I have only been pulled over twice and not gotten a ticket. No matter how nice I am they still give one. One time it was my girlfriends birthday and we were late for a movie or something so he let me go, the other time I was a complete ass**** and got all mad because I rolled through a stopsign on a thursday morning at almost 1:00. I was the only car on the road, I had been drinking but not for the last couple hours and not a lot, and was argueing with my girlfriend. So I didnt care about a ticket at all. My girlfriend told the cop I was having a bad night and he let me go. So I decided if I'm by myself I'm getting the ticket anyways, so I make it worth it.

keep in mind at 1 am if your by yourself and rolling through a stop sign yes your def gonna get pulled over not because the cop cares that you rolled through, but the fact that you gave him a reason to run your license and to check you out, because theres bigger things to get you on if your license is suspended or a warrant or anything else like dwi ect,ect,ect just be apolagetic and you should be ok then if you still get a ticket then you know what o well there really nothin you could do about it, if you want take it to court and fight it.
