it was spooling & hesitating before, I switched the map sensor and now its not doing it.
I'm not saying that was the reason, but thats what stopped it. I don't know..

i know turbos and s/c are different....and i never try'd with my ty...but my sc'd truck will build boost when stabbing the throttle hard while not under load...fuel pressure jumps w/boost...rev it hard enough it will spike to 10 psi...
i thought it was normal

I didn't think they were suppose to build any boost unless they were under a load. I was thinking like crashing sux said, running lean, map sensor wasn't right? I don't know. but it seems to be running pretty good now.

Makes sense to me. I know some will say you can't build boost without load but it's just not true, you can build boost easily with no load by messing with timing and fueling, but it's hard on the turbo. That's how the rally guys keep their boost up when they're in the corners, they can afford to rebuild turbo's constantly though.
