Colorado Truck Fest!!

Hey all.... Now that I've finally gotten all the kinks of getting signed up on here worked out and can FINALLY post!! Anyway.. I'm all happy to report that I took my brick to the track for the first time this last weekend.... 15.45 in the quarter first run.... 15.40 :rant: second run... started poking around under hood after ry showed me a big oops :lol: damn vacuum leak!! fixed it and finally got a good boost launch.... ran a 14.90 out of the gas and on the brakes and still broke out by 0.2... so now I'm kinda curious as to what I'll run when it's not 98 degrees outside, no vacuum leaks, and all the way out!! Anyway I wasn't too pissed bout losing cause I made it all the way to the Semi-Finals!! Representing for SY/TY hoohah!!

Nice to see you finally got the activation :tup:

Good showing at Bandi... and don't feel bad about the times. Ry's old white/gray was the only fast truck I've ever seen run at Bandi. Even with boost, SyTy's don't seem to run well there. :lol: I'm sorry I missed it, but when/if my cladding gets painted, it will have all been worth it. :tup:

Oh well we haven't ran it yet... It's been in the garage getting the ol once over seeing how it's been sittin for a while ( 4 years or so....) but uhh were going down Aug 8th & 9th if you guys wanna go.. Anyway it's a 69 Nova all fiberglass, lexan windows etc... Basically a super gas car with less of a motor in it.. It's chillin over here in the garage if you wanna come check her out some day after work....

You guys are lucky I wasn't there or I would have buried all of you :rotf: I was driving the TY a very little bit that day and damn was it hot out. I was nearing my house and I thought I'd get on it and see how it performed in the heat with the alky and WOW!!! I was haulin ass. All my temps were almost pegged on the autometers after holding the gas down for about 5 seconds :roll:

Yeah actually it's pretty cool, it's that fifty year anniversary logo mounted on a wooden base!! If I can track down the digi cam I'll post pictures of it. I had Jay laughing the whole way home cause we drove home with the trophy "on the mantle" (up on the dash) hahah :rotf:

Here is a TBSS that my buddy did a stroker motor and nitrous for the up coming pinks show getting some first runs at truckfest on sunday! Not too bad for a 5000 pound suv eeh! :tup:

Here's my boys ride(40 ford) we're bringin to pinks......he just tossed together a carbed ls7427 for the show and hopefully he will finish the passenger side header today to fire it up tonight! I'll keep an eye out for ya murdermachine. :tup:

Yep....he works fast. He's the one that helped me a lot with my zr1 stroker. Pinks should be a blast...can't wait!

Stock motor and 6psi only out of the magi......so a definate upgrade this year for sho! :tup:
