I was letting a guy I am trying to sell my Typhoon to drive it, and he got on it and asked why it pulled so hard to the right. I tried to explain that it is from all the power that Typhoons have combined with AWD, I couldn't think of the term "torque steer" when I was talking to him so he thinks something is wrong with it. I've driven a brand-new Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and it had noticeable torque steer since it is FWD and Supercharged. That's all I have to compare to, so I was wondering when is torque steer considered excessive in a Ty and what is the cause? It dosen't jerk the steering wheel out of your hand or anything, but you want to be sure you have both hands on the wheel before you go full throttle. I thought this was normal.
