Just an idea. Since we will be waiting in line(dozens and dozens of people showing up at the same time), how about a horse riding contest. $1.25 a try and the winner gets their meal at Gates, free. Any leftover money is donated to Nats fund, and the people waiting in line can vote for the winner.

Chugging a beer, riding a horse while wearing a costume-maybe. As long as we don't get kicked out. Gates is great, it's open late, it serves beer, it has a horse, it's close to the hotel, and it's right on the road that goes to the track(I-435 & stateline rd-easy to remember and find). It would be hard to find a better place, if they got annoyed with us.

Nats coordinated BBQ will be in the hotel parking lot on Friday before we leave for the dyno.
There will be a small charge for the plate lunch to help support the event.

I promise you its a better deal than what we got at the American Bandstand buffet last year.

Plan is to be done eating and caravan to the dyno around 2pm.
The new dyno place is SWEET!
We are working on them to let Jeff Scott drive Roberts Sy on the dyno or else they wont do it.
I hope it works out, but either way the dyno is gonna ROCK!

The cheapest car that sits at the dyno runs around $61,000.
It is the best place we have gone and they work with top end cars day in and day out.
Nice people too.....

is there really a difference between them driving and you driving if you're just sitting in the passenger seat monitoring/telling them what to do? There should be even less concerns since we're dealing w/ automatic trannies here.

The hotel will let us BBQ in the parking lot? I love that place! Well, it makes up for giving our June weekend to another group. I may even help cleanup a bit, if there is time, before heading to the dyno.
