Posts getting deleted

Whoever is deleting a certain persons posts needs to cut it out. Ive said this before and I'll say it again. Stop it. I blew it off the last time and chalked it up to me not paying attention or my lack of computer skills but this time myself along with a few other ppl have noticed.

Im on here enough to notice that certain posts get deleted if they dont go over well with certain ppl and I'll tell you here and/or in person that its a candy ass way of messing with someone. If you have a problem with someone then take it up with them in public, via email, or in person. Any other way is jr high punk ass crap. Be a man and stand up, dont hide behind a freakin key board.

The latest thread that was deleted I happened to be a part of and it was a VERY important thread to me and a few other ppl. If that info happens to mysteriously show up I can promise you Im going to copy it and repost it each time it gets deleted if it takes one time or five thousand times. Same thing if this post "gets lost".

Its a damn shame that just because someone happens to come up with something that doesnt go over well with someone else its deleted instead of being hashed out like ppl with some damn common sense would.

If I wanted to hang out at a place that OTHER ppl decided what I was allowed to read based on who they liked or didnt like Id move to a communist country or just go hang out on the buick board all the time. :roll: Pathetic :roll: :roll: :roll:

Lastly, got a problem with any of this? Post it. Better yet you can call me on my cel phone at 540-580-4046 and give me a good reason why Im full of it.

not that i did it, (since nobody trusts me, after a few tookycat posts get lost), and they took my rights away expect for in the off topic part.

99% of the time if a post get deleted, i'd just blame it on "Clone" or Josh, he likes to just delete posts without any reason. :lol:

I've also noticed some of my stuff dissappeared. Some stuff didn't follow the correct page sequence. After I would post, it would show page 2 of 1..???
Then if you went to the main forum page and went back. The post wouldn't be there. Some other people told me how to find them using only my user name. Pieces were there. Still, all of the info wasn't there. I've been on here for a long time and it only happened recently on transmission topics. It never did it on anything else. Nothing else at all. Weird timing:roll:

I usually squeal when things get ugly, so you'd know if I was doin anything. I suspect there is either a glitch or a rogue mod. Where were the deletions made? We can narrow down who has access to mod functions there.

I want to make it perfectly clear Im not pointing fingers at anyone in particular as I have no Idea whos doing the deleting/strategic movement of posts. Its happening though and Im pretty damn pissed off about it. As a matter of fact Im pissed off enough that I considered putting my Sy up for sale this afternoon and going back to Chevelles/Camaros. That goes against my grain though and Im not going anywhere any time soon.... Im not a give up type person. I dig in and stand my ground come hell, satan, high water, or whatever (ok, so bees scare me but thats it).

Anyway... Its Blakes posts/threads that are getting messed with. I didnt drop names in the initial post as the purpose to my starting this hissy fit thread was to let it be known to the person(s) involved that the monkey business is not going unoticed by me and a few other ppl (they can chime in if they want).

I find it EXTREMELY hard to believe that a bug in the sw is picking out Blakes posts exclusively. I guess it could happen but IMO I have odds of becoming the next Mr America.

Ppl that have been around here long enough KNOW that I like this board and the ppl on it (most of em anyway) and if I have probs with someone I will try to settle things with some common sense to keep everyone happy. This business of monkeying with Blakes posts has flown all over me and pissed me off enough Id like to get hold of the person doing it.

Lastly, to whoever has the issues with Blake. The bad blood there is none of my business nor does it involve me but..... when it involves cash that Im getting ready to spend either directly or indirectly it becomes my business. If you have a problem with Blake either take it up with him in private or on here so everyone else can see whats going on but dont move/delete/mess with the posts. Dunno about other ppl but Im pretty pissed the hell off about it....and Im still pretty pissed about it. Its one thing to delete or mess with something that has no use what so ever but I, along with other people, have found Blakes trans info informative and educational and to have that info come up missing or get shuffled around/hard to find makes me think someone is trying to keep certain info a secret...

I dont hang out on AIM, chat, or any of that other real time stuff much so anything I learn I get from here or the couple of other syty ppl I stay in touch with via email/PM. It pisses me off to no end when VERY useful info gets taken out of my reach just because someone with the ability to do so has a beef with the person that provided the info.

Lastly, To the guilty party(s) if the crap doesnt stop and I find out who it is I can PROMISE you that I will make a every effort to seek you out at the Nats or where ever and PERSONALLY inform you that youre a piece of shit and dare you to do anything about it. You so much as blink at me the wrong way I'll slap you into next week. You think Im a "internet tough guy"? Try me.. Im redneck/ignorant enough that when I get freakin mad the thought of you calling 911 once I let you breath wont bother me one bit. You think you can kick my ass? Im an ok guy most of the time dubb.. I do have a mental "shit list" and I doubt you have anything to worry about (I almost feel bad that I scare you ) as at the very least I can count on you for entertainment. I dont like getting physical anymore or even showing my redneck trailer trash side but I tell you what... I pitty the shit ass that is dicking around with good posts just to settle a personal beef or whatever and I find out who it is. Thats when my trailer trash/white trash side comes in handy. I may not be at the nats this year cause I'll prolly be walking a picket line here in VA but I'll be there again soon enough. Its a damn shame that ppl will have to witness me going to someones ass as Im sure they go to for the reason of hanging out with fellow sytyers....not to see jerry springer live. All I can say is mr post deletion shoulda thought of that long before they thought it was a good idea to be moving posts around at their leasure. Hmmph, if they are so intelligent they woulda thought of that IMO. :-?

There is a LOT of things I stay out of cause its none of my business or a minor miscommunication between ppl but this BS involved me and my money. I get this pissed off about a small list of things and concerning my money happens to be one of them right behind insulting Ms myclone and dicking with my truck.

I sincerely hope its a bug in the sofware but the circumstances surrounding the happenings make that a REAL hard pill to swallow. Right now I dont buy into it.

Ive been a mod on boards before and honestly I would drop post a lot of the time just trying to re direct them to another forum. I dont know all circumstances here but sometimes you do have to delete a post becuase you know all it is, is a fire starter. Or you can let a fire brew for a little bit and lock it. Those are legit reasons, personal dislikes are NOT included!!! I take it that whomever your talking about did not recieve any notice or feedback on why it was deleted?

I just got a bit of a "brief" about the issue from a concerned party, and must say any removal of posts due to vendor bias is lame. Hopefully Keith can look into who is doing this and stop them.
One way to get around it for the time being would be to post the pertenant information on Jess's web page and just link to it. If the post is deleted then at least folks who are interested will know to go to Jess's site.

This version of phpBB is also a lil outdated so hacks are more common. I would say a fresh install of the latests version of phpBB will solve many issues along with a better search ability.
