Well if I stay with the gray cladding then I'm going to get the black wheels. I don't want to bring too much attention to the wheels. Harmon doesn't like the idea of going all one color, I need to take more advantage of the time I have to think about it. Obviously I don't want to paint the truck 8 times and I want to be happy with it. :tup:

I like the exact wheels in the link, but I just can't picture what they would look like on the grey/rasp color scheme.

The nice thing about the gray cladding, if you ever decide to change colors topside, you can keep the gray with just about any upper color.

It looks a bit more classy with the gray, I think. Raspberry kinda screams at you as a color, and having a bit less of it might not be the worst idea.

Changing the colors is a good point!:tup: As I said before I want it to fit my personality but I still want it to be a quality truck

Mrs. H, Rasp/grey with those wheels but in black chrome. That's my vote. You can play with the grey to get the best match between (literally) the wheels and raspberry.

I'm getting my very own engine stand today then it's on to start tearing down the 91 motor and get it ready to be raspberrified!

I actually can see what Quikstop is getting at. YEARS ago, back in about 97 or so, I saw this ZR1 at a carshow that had the yellow pearl and blue pearlescent. Yellow was on bottom though. It looked f'in SICK in person. Had someone ever suggested it I would have said NO WAY!!! But standing in front of it was a different story. I thought it looked so cool I bought a ZR1 model and tried to paint the same way. I am certainly no professional but this is kind of what it looked like



TTry and keep in mind this thing has been in a case for ten years or so and I don't really dust it:lol:

Sorry for the hi-jack, my point really is that a loud color scheme can look good, this model certainly may not be proof but the raspberry with grey to me would be the shit!!

I spose it looks goodl on a corvette model but..... not sure on syclone:dunno:
