...no seriously..a dirt bike? Low miles, good for that new fangled 'adventure touring' thing that's taking off. Just like a BMW, minus a piston, heated grips, boxes hanging off the sides, an attractive but bitchy wife, and a stick up the arse. Sounds interesting, but I don't need the snow tires, I'm in Florida. What else ya got? :rotf:

My main problem with it is that its too small inside. I'm 6'5" and my wife is 6'1" and she fits OK, but I would need my legs amputated if I drove it a couple hundred miles.

You must have some strange proportions....I'm 6'10" and my Ty is real comfy.

I'm 6'5" and 260lbs, maybe about 20 lbs overweight right now, not like the Michelin man or anything. I can say that my arms fit ok lengthwise, my legs would need the seat moved back about 3 inches to be able to get straight enough for a long trip in it, which I'd do if it was a keeper. Headroom is fine, its more the length.

I'm not bitching about the truck itself, this one was just too hopped up for what I need- the big injectors and big turbo would be better for someone who has more performance aspirations. If I just putt this one around, its a waste. Someone would be better off racing it, or a guy who wants to blast around and enjoy the speed. I'd trade for a similar stock one, and can pay up with cash for one in better condition. I don't have any thoughts that all the mods make it worth more- probably less...

LOL, looking back I guess the reference to the movie "Cars" is quite obscure. Too many rugrats running around my house, I forget not everybody has seen that movie 47 times :rotf: .

Too bad, I was just in FL last month, I would have run and taken a look if I was in the area.

Tom just told me that my turbo is an ATR. Not sure if that helps this things case with a potential buyer, or hurts it, but I want to sell it. PM me if interested, Someone can really enjoy this thing, just not me- my cops in my area do rolling radar all the time and with my luck, I punch it on a straightaway and there will be a cop coming over the hill and stick me with a ticket...

I am looking for a set of 2005 or newer Yamaha 250 4 strokes for the back of my Magnum 28 if anyone has a set of those laying around...

What other mods? Headers, downpipe, how do you know its a McCoy engine? Any paperwork on the engine? Trans?? What about it, if the motor was built up what about the trans? Stock propshaft?

I have the receipt for the McCoy motor. About $6K. If you look at the pix, it shows the engine with the downpipe and you can see most of whats visible.

I'm at $6500 on it right now. I'm going to lose money on it, but want to see it get put to good use. I think its a pretty fair price...

Can you get underneath it and take a pic like this: This is the area just behind the cab where the cladding is attached. I am just wondering about under cab rust if the exterior is so bad. A member here in town has a white ty with rust, and this area is very bad.

Might as wheel put plain steel wheels on it.
Some color or chrome would really help in the looks department.
They appear to be those base Corvette rims that nobody wants.
How some one thinks it looks cool is beyond me.
Way more saleable with some shine down there.

Have to factor in the fact that it's a 93 as well. Doesn't have the good seats. Missing the awesome door escutcheons. Awful tailgate decal placement. Big turnoffs to discriminating buyer.

I actually have a set of escutcheons somewhere that I was going to use, but I plan eliminating the wimpy door handles all together now.

Hmmm, how do I answer this one?

A) I wanted to give the members here a better price. Thats why I said I'm at 6500 with it- my lowest price.

B) I was that sucker born every minute and thats what I paid for it and just want my money back, in my dreams....

C) I put the price there because I have people like the guy who wants to trade me a 1994 Harley which is worth about $6K and he's asking $12000 for it. We call it a 'Goofy Trade' asking price.

D) Any combination of the above answers.

They're the Corvette wheels. They look tough, not pretty, but if someone buys it and wants other wheels, they can put them on, I'm not in the business of fixing it up to sell it for more money, I bought it and realized it was not for me and will move on. The flat black look is in where I am, so thats probably why they're there. I agree with you, but I'm not hunting down stock rims in good shape for a truck that can end up on the drag strip or getting other custom wheels. Thanks.
