well like the title says. I have an issue with my Ty. First off I am running Bigstuff3 and have limited knowledge of how to use it. Here goes. When I start the truck for the first time in the morning or when ever it is sat and cooled down the truck cranks and fires right up and seems great for about three seconds and then it stalls. It does this everytime it is started cold. Then when I start it again I get a very hard start (cranking little cough).
Upon firing up it blows smoke for a short time then it idles smooth and runs somewhat well. I do have a relocated battery to the rear and have done some reading in reguards to having a poor ground causing a similar issue. I found that the negetive cable off the battery goes down to the frame (well actually it looks like to the bumper support). I was considering running this cable further towards the engine bay in hopes that this could be a cause for this issue. I also quickly looked for the ground wires that are suppose to run from the engine to the frame and or the fire wall. I couldn"t find either. I am thinking I have a poor grounding path.Any help would be great.:dunno:
