street scene mirrors ???

They look nice but the plastic is dull and would need to be painted to shine. Havent painted mine yet. Also installation was a bitch. They come with a main braket that gets bolted to the door first(it has 3 studs that need to be threaded into the door. You cant turn each stud individually, so you cant install it. I drilled out the the 3 factory nuts welded to the door, push the studs from the braket throught the drilled out nuts, and put new nuts on the inside of the door. Then attach your mirror. Price is cheap, seem to fairly good quality but Alot of work to install. Not a direct bolt in. Fern Sy#477

Aim is a bitch to deal with. And they mirrors are POS. The one they are offering as S10/S15 mirrors are general purpose ones, you should fabricate a lot to make them fit. I bought mine from
http://www.streetpros.com/. It was around $100, but fits nice...

Historically Significant
Somebody at nats this year had some nice aftermarket mirrors on their syclone. I think he was from Florida or Wisconsin...can't remember his name though...

How long does the shine last on the plastic?? Does it come off when it rains?? Fern Sy#477
It begins to oxidize just like paint. The shine lasts for about a month or longer. It depends on how much they're in the sun.
The amount of time to polish them back up again is very minimal.

Not the best picture, but that's the only close up I could find now.

Serious about performance
What's wrong with the stock mirrors? Good visibility.. original looking. You do realize the vehicle you own is a pickup truck right?

I'm just givin' ya a hard time  But I do like my stock mirrors.

Well. I don't. Good visibility, true, but they look like elephant ears. Or maybe that's just the ricer in me?
